You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.
Please contact our school office for more information on School Council minutes.
Membership
Our first School Council meeting and elections will be held on Thursday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the school library. If you are interested, or would like to nominate someone, fill out the School Council Nomination Form that will be part of your back-to-school forms by September 18th, 2026. School Councils provide valuable advice and support on school matters and help to strengthen the important relationship between schools, parents, guardians and their communities. Our School Council contributes in so many ways to Rosedale Heights P.S. and helps us build a stronger school community.
Meeting Dates
Please note that there can be many parents and guardians who consistently attend School Council Meetings and strongly support School Council events who are not executive members. Everyone is welcome to attend and support the work of the school. Simply come out and lend a hand!
Dates for subsequent School Council meetings will be determined at the first meeting. All School Council meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the school library.
We look forward to working with you to support our students!
